Ministry in JapanThe Association for the Seamen's Ministry
The Association for the Seamen’s Mission is an organization run by
the Protestant Churches (United Church of Christ in Japan and The United
Methodist Church-USA) in Kanagawa District. The Association for the Seamen’s Mission:
The ASM works jointly with the Apostolatus Maris (AOS-Stella Maris) and The Seafarers Mission (MtoS) that operate and manage a mission center known by the visiting seafarers in Yokohama as The Mission to Seafarers Club. In addition to the brief information I have given above please do take time to see below. PORTS There are 15 ports to which the three organizations provide transport service in Yokohama City, Kanagawa District.

NAMMA seeks to promote and expand maritime ministry locally and nationally by increasing awareness among the stakeholders of the services available to seafarers by NAMMA members. This includes maintaining a database of mariner services, the development of a consultant corps to assist local centers, and creating materials and opportunities. |
