ICMA
The International Christian Maritime Association (ICMA) is the parent organization of NAMMA, with its headquarters in Southampton, England. The ICMA Directory lists Christian Centers, Chaplaincies, and other Seafarer's Welfare Agencies in over 800 ports world-wide.

LAMM
The Lutheran Association for Maritime Ministry is the umbrella organization for maritime ministries associated with Lutheran church bodies.

IMO
The International Maritime Organization is the United Nations specialized agency responsible for improving maritime safety and preventing pollution from ships. It is committed to the technical cooperation among nations involved in shipping.

Active Communications International (ACI)
ACI plans and produces various conferences around the world. NAMMA is happy to provide to our membership information on various upcoming maritime conferences. We will be keeping you informed about discounts available to NAMMA members if you decide to attend these conferences. This is all part of our continuing commitment to fulfil our mission statement which concludes with the statement that we seek to assist “seafarers and all others in the maritime community. The first conference with a NAMMA connection is the 2nd Green Shipping Conference, April 30 - May 1, 2008, in Miami. Click here for details. Clay Maitland, the convenor of our Industry Advisory Board is one of the conference presenters.

Apostleship of the Sea - U.S.
Part of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, this organization helps port chaplains of many denominations.

Mission to Seafarers
The Mission to Seafarers celebrated its 150th year in 2006 and has ministers in 300 ports around the world.

Port Ministries International
This is an organization of 45 port ministries primarily related to the Southern Baptist Convention.

International Transport Workers Federation (ITF).

The International Association for the Study of Maritime Mission has information for those involved in the study of maritime mission.

Maritime World Services is an organization that helps develop, produce and distribute maritime ministry resources.

The Center for Seafarers' Rights offers free legal assistance to merchant seafarers and is sponsored by the Seamen's Church Institute of New York and New Jersey.

American Salvage Association - The intention of the American Salvage Association is to professionalize and improve marine casualty response in North American coastal and inland waters.
